At Calvary, we believe that creative gifts are given to glorify God! Frontlines is a ministry that involves many different areas of artistic expression joined for one purpose - to touch hearts for God. This ministry organizes, programs, and supports different visual and creative arts in weekly Sunday services and special events. Some elements include - musical worship, dance, drama, sanctuary presentation, multimedia & video production, lighting, sound, and other technical features. With a heart for excellence, Frontlines gathers and incorporates many talents. It looks to small yet effective ways to reach the heart so that people may be open to receiving what God has for them in a service. Do you have the aloha spirit and a friendly smile? Serve in the Greeters Ministry, and be the first to make those that come to Calvary feel welcomed like 'ohana! Calvary Greeters hand out Sunday Morning bulletins, or other printed programs, and name-tags to visitors and members alike. Show your worship and love for God through service! Join others in preparing God's house for weekly services and special events with the Hospitality Ministry. Whether help is needed in the sanctuary, kitchen, or church office the Hospitality Ministry is there. Find joy in being involved with what is going on at Calvary. Service ministry times vary. Help the church run smoothly in the Levites Ministry. In the Bible, the Levites were the people God chose to take care of the Hebrews' place of worship. No church can operate without a team of dedicated people who will take care of the practical details. The Levites, along with the Hospitality Committee, set-up and break-down for church events big and small, direct parking, and help with anything that needs to get done. Also, serving side-by-side with others is an awesome way to get to know people and develop new relationships as you work towards a common goal. Ushers help people find seats before and during services, work to accommodate any special needs, assist in receiving the offering, and are available during services in case of need or emergency.
