Aloha, I would appreciate prayer for my second cochlear implant surgery. I go for pre-op tomorrow (wed) and am trusting all will check out okay. The surgery takes place in the morning of Nov. 15 in Honolulu, so I fly there in the morning, undergo the operation, they usually send us back on the plane on the same day!Blessings, Thema

My grandson, Stephen Guiterrez, is being deployed to Afghanistan. He will be in Tennessee for three months and then on to Afghanistan. He is one of my three "instant grandkids" whose mom married my son 8-9 years ago. He is in the infantry and will no doubt be in the midst of all. He did make a commitment to the Lord years ago, but hasn't been too active in church for a while. Mahalo! Sharon

I have a prayer request, please! I have an upcoming court case on the 15th and I just ask that anyone who can add me in their prayers that God just send his Holy Spirit down to shine upon me, to give me wisdom, a smart tongue, courage and strength to get through this, that this goes in a positive way for me so that I can move on in my life and do what God has asked of me and wants me to do and that God give my daughter the strength and courage she needs to get through this with me. Please pray for God to give me a good report from Doc. McDevitt who did the surgery below my eye...saggy eye! Please Lord, You do the 'tuck' that will cause the lower lid to close properly and not just hang there!! (always the laugh yah?!!) Thanks!

9 year old boy with brain trauma

Please pray for Sebastian. His aunt came to the church requesting prayer for him. He is 9 years old in the hospital in Honolulu. His family is from Kona but some are at the Ronald McDonald House while he is being cared for. He has had some kind of brain trauma or injury and currently has 30 second memory. Please pray for healing, his family, and wisdom of doctors etc.
